I have 3 T1 sons. Our youngest was dx at 16 months. Our oldest was dx at age 20 and our middle one dx at age 9. They are 7, 22, and (still)9. When our youngest and first diabetic child said when he was 5, I hope I'm not diabetic when I grow up, it broke my heart. Just a few months later was when his already "grown up" brother was dx and D son #1 said he was sad for him....again...broken heart. When the middle son was dx in April of this year, the youngest felt like he now had a "battle buddy."

Actually it makes perfect sense...think about it! They're not just trying to raise money, but raise AWARENESS... What i f you're daughter was going through this??? Wouldn't you want money to be raised for a cure? And isn't youtube a great way to spread the word about things? Think about your comment...
