no they are just a reed valve that fits on the inlet manifold.

Perhaps some of the dripping from the exhaust is also some water condensation as well as oil, if the bike had recently been started and it was a cold day.

@rct2 this "boysen reeds" what is it excactly ? a cilinder? 120cc ?! it fits on a stock speedfight2 or do you need like to get a bigger crank ?

You should get a performance ignition and some other exhausts to test. Those make a huge difference!
