  • The human body, with respect to singing and whistling, is still the most incredible musical instrument.

  • @jjbjornsson i know what you mean friend, can u play mcfly on the human instrument !?

  • i thought i could whistle well but he is stunning

  • @Ira0321 LOL It's not cheating. It's just a different way to whistle. The guy who won the title of Grand Champion at the International Whistlers Convention in 2009 whistles using this method. (His name is Luke Janssen.)

I can't even do it myself; I can only do the traditional "pucker" style whistling.

  • @scabo0o It is called "palatial whistling" because instead of using the puckered lips to produce the sound, the whistle is caused when the air passes between the tongue and the palate of the mouth (the roof of the mouth). The whistler uses the tongue to create a small space between the tongue and the roof of the mouth, which creates the whistle, and then they change the shape of the mouth to alter the pitch of the notes as they come out.

  • That whistling looks weird, how is he doing it?

  • This style of whistling gives greater control. I've always thought of it as cheating and never do it. But since he has more views than I, it might be worth reconsidering!

  • wow!! thats so cool!! hahah that made me smile
