@darlingelf yeah she said its very hard for someone who is professionally trained to sing off key on purpose...Lucille Ball used to do it but it messed up her vocal chords, which is a side effect.

Hyacinth looks just like my grandmother. Both face and body. But my grandmother never behaved like this. Thank God.

I don't think that you can base a culture on what their tv shows are like. My family is nothing like people portrayed in American tv shows. TV is just for entertainment purposes.
