This brief clip shows the TrailRider, a backwoods access wheelchair, ascending a trail in Vancouver, BC. TrailRiders, operated by British Columbia Mobility Opportunities Society, are affectionately described as "a cross between a rickshaw and a wheelbarrow" - but they have twice summited Kilimanjaro, reached Everest Base Camp and allowed countless fishing trips, school outings and family afternoons outdoors. And, yes, the Sam being interviewed is former Vancouver mayor and BCMOS founder Sam Sullivan.
