my college choir got to sing this song with them, talk about an awesome experience

This is gorgeous. I love all the Howard and SDA version on youtube, but mercy, the bass in this rendition is... mercy! More choirs need bass. God bless this man and the choir and anyone who comes in touch with this song!

@reaves651 - I have to agree with you there. The TriCity SDA choir NAILED it! My scalp was tingling and prickling, hairs standing up, goose bumps all over. This version does not do it. As much as I LOVE the Howard version - even THEY couldn't deliver the same way.

That bass line is where it's at!!! I miss choirs with four part harmony!!!

@ISingGospel after listening again, well like three times..........I conquer, i can tell the michs were adjusted......choir did a great job. Just really took me a minute to let that soprano go....lol but they were awesome!

Does anyone know where to get the sheet music for this song?
-
@mrAdonisMusic She was dragging but she wasn't necessarily the real problem was the audio. I truly feel the choir sounded great, but I feel that the microphones were not balanced. That may have been why that particular soprano was so loud, and notice that the tenors and the altos were faint. Then once the choir went full voice, it seems as if the volume on the mics were drastically brought down and then you can barely hear the choir at all and then the instruments seemed to drown them out.

Im so sorry, that soprano in the mic, is sort of draggin the tune of the choir down slowly....if this was accapello you they would def be in a different key upon ending the song.
Howard's version??? Please, Patrick Lundy and the Ministers of Music made this record and broke it!!! All other versions are mediocre, at best.

@pmhiztory
Lord I hear of showers of blessings
Thou art scarttering full & free
Showers the thirsty souls refreshing
Let some drops now fall on me
Even Me, Lord Even Me
Let some drop now fall on me.
The words come from an old traditional hymn.
