Courtney allowed us to put this online to show the destruction and the recovery from the flooding.

It is beyond excellent. It captures the aftermath of the flooding in Gowanda NY.

The flood affected much of the town. BonaResponds has made many trips to the area to help. Courtney and her mom have been there since the beginning. This is her story.

Man This totaly sucked for me...i dont live in gowanda but i live near it, i go to gowanda high and when i came down the day after the flood i thought a boomb hit the place. all the dust and bulldosers and national guard, if you saw the school it was turned into a HQ for gowanda survival many of my friends houses were damiged we were so screwed...but we got through it! with lots of work shovels, and a little but of hope (=

wow i was there that was awful my best friend had to move because her house was ruined and she couldnt find a new house in gowanda or nearby :(
