Bangkok (15 October 2009): Nissan Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd. confirms its success on Tiida by launching its two models, as a response to the demand of new generation customers.
The Nissan Tiida emphasizes on modern and cool concept, spacious cabin with the feature of sports car. This makes Tiida different from other ordinary marketing cars. While Tiida Latio focuses on simplicity stylish and comfort for all family uses.
The interior design and exterior of the Tiida features on spacious cabin, it provides enough room for all imagination of life and obviously shows the uniquely distinction of the car for new generation.
Tiida Latio pursues the concept of the eye-catching family car which is simply elegant and cozy, providing adequate room to fulfill all of happiness for everybodys love ones. It is certain that Latio is second to none. The introduction of the newly extra functions can enhance the advantage of the product, comparing with the competitors in the market. But, the spaciousness, modernity and comfort are still remained.
There is a new design for the console of the Tiida by changing the front grille, the same shape as Nissan Muranos, in order to fit it with the new head lamps and bumper. For Hatchback, its front grille is dark grey according to the concept of sports car while Latios is light grey as a luxurious and tasty car. Additionally, fog lamps are designed as water drop-like shape. To enhance good features eye glance.
New control boards of the Tiida and Tiida Latio model G is installed with the silver stripe in the middle control to enhance the modern and appropriated prominence. Especially the metallic design in the front console is readjusted in order to reduce the reflection of the light to the front windscreen.
The stereo switch control on steering wheel in G models is easy to control by the touch of the fingers. This is not only enhancing the convenience but also safety while driving because drivers do not have to take their hands from the steering wheel. In addition, in Tiida Latio model 1.6 G and M, the new radio 2 Din+ 1 CD supporting MP3 has been introduced, along with AUX IN channel for linking external equipments such as I-POD and MP3. For both the Tiida and Tiida Latio is fitted with fully automatic air-con system which comes with an outside temperature display meter. This allows the driver to adjust the cabin temperature to the appropriate settings, and spread coolness thoroughly in the passenger cabin. This is another special one for enhancing joy along the journey.
Mr. Prapat Choeychom, Senior Vice President, Nissan Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd. revealed Nissans Marketing Plan. He said, Even though this years economic situation makes it difficult for the marketing, it is obvious that the growth of compact car increases continuously. The YTD (year to date) until August this year, our passenger is 5% growth, comparing to the YTD of August last year. Especially, a midsize car is the most popular. Nissan, therefore, takes all the details seriously in order to improve the products which meet the need of the target group who consumes such midsize cars. The feature of compact exterior but spacious interior, driving performance and the second-to-none fuel-efficient consumption are always in Nissans mind.
