  • so to complete the body of it, did you just keep making strips across the plane?

  • @theboyaddo Thanks for commenting. The answer is no, the strips were added to give the paper a better surface to hold onto. The body and wings are made of sections of paper spanning sections of the ribs. You can view this process taking place on any of the planes I have on my channel.     Thanks for the interest. I used 110 lb. cardstock paper ( the same thickness as most business cards are made from) it keeps a bend and glues down fairly fast and easy. It only takes 1- 8.5X11 in. sheet to make the plane.
