Julie Powell

I'm a Mexican citizen and resident. I recently watch the film "Julie & Julia" and it was a great pleasure. I identified myself with Julie in some aspects and I really like her courage to pursue this monumental task, which at the end, rewarded her in many ways. I didn't like the fact that she wasn't able to meet Julia Child and that uncertainty that Julie had if Julia ever read her blog. How I contact Julie? I'd like to meet her in my next trip to NYC. I'm glad SOMEONE's standing up for the outer boroughs and showing the world there are geniuses to be found out here. She's proof of that.

You are so real. I just finished your book, which my Mom gave me to read as I was recuperating from knee surgery...it was hard to not laugh and jiggle my knee!
