A UK TV commercial from the early 1990s when the government really new how to blow money selling off our utility companies (oops sorry - bit of politics there!). Naff script, but a surprising rare bit of telly. Surely the only time that James Doohan and the wonderfully deadpan Simon Cadell (sadly both no longer with us) ever appeared together!!
Classic!
It was so long ago (so I might be mistaken) but does anyone remember The Terminator spoof of these commercials? Instead of Kyle Reese coming through the time portal it was Simon Cadell in his suit.

@Lizzio1980 No. The advert was from 1990. You can check with the Star trek, Paramount copyright at the beginning of the advert. I also remember these shareholding adverts were aired at the beginning of the 90's.

Although ships of the late 2200's didn't run LCARS, Kirk seemed very pleased with the outcome.
