Dude have you read primordium? In the end the timeless one is actually a advanced form of gravemind. If you dont believe me, read the book

Also, Chakas isn't 343, he is a hive mind of condensed AI-ed humans where he was dominant. Out of this general AI, Monitors were copied/taken and placed as masters of the Halo rings. One of them was 343 Guilty Spark, and that's essentially 343's way to bring back 343 in a canonical and cool new way, but he really isn't Guilty Spark at all.

@jentario GS is a fragment of Chakas.

Actually, you are entirely wrong. First of all, the TO said that after their war with the Forerunners, some Precursors managed to escape beyond reach (to other galaxies, presumably). This alone heightens the possibility of them being the enemy. Also, while the TO's body "died" his soul (or personality or whatever) was still bound to transfer to a new gravemind- he said that "you will kill this slave but another will be set free", also the GM from H3 survived the destruction of High Charity.

@jentario Yeah I know, I was a bit wrong, I said that somewhere in the comments.
