  • robotic or not, it doesnt matter. it's the record that counts. this isnt a jury trial in the us where the fact finder sleeps through the presentations....the words actually matter here...

  • @Cabal777 I don't think yours a stupid post at all. However we've gotta realize that in a moot, style counts for 20% at best. If you have clearer arguments than your opponent, answer questions better, and can address his/her issues head on, you will win the moot. Even if you stammer and stutter once in awhile (provide it does not affect the clarity of your case)

    This "robotic" manner is characteristic of many people for whom English is not a first language. This does NOT mean they can't moot.
