City-Wide Open Studios 2008 Contemporary Art Museum Saint Louis

City-Wide Open Studios 2008 was an event hosted by Contemporary Art Museum Saint Louis when over 100 local artists opened their studio doors and welcomed the public into their respective work environs to take a look at the action behind the scenes. A full week of events including an opening cocktail reception, organized and impromptu location visits, city wide bicycle tours, a directed and curated Trolley Tour, craft fair, live rap, DJ's, and Techno, all closing on Sunday evening with the Annual Starving Artisit's BBQ.

please define the area of what you would call LOCAL artists. I live in Poplar Bluff, but I grew up in and around in St. Louis, and no matter where I go in this world I will always be a St. Louis boy at heart. Hell I was born in St Louis! Is there any new exhibits of local artists coming up, and what do you have to do to show your work? Id love some information if I'd be welcome to join. Where abouts is this particular museum located? I must check it out sometime while visiting the St Louis area!
