Cummins S10 vs. Duramax Camaro

Brandon's Cummins S10 drag racing at Scheid Diesel's eXtravaganza 2009. Round #2 rematch put me up against the same first gen Duramax powered Camaro Z28. I turned the nitrous on for this pass and hurt traction even more.

@ChadGogley Your hearts in the right place. In 2010 regulation on sulfur content & advancements in fuel delivery, have now made Diesel a more effecient alternative use of fuel than the common unleaded gasoline. Diesel does however emit larger levels of nitrogren & partical matter(soot) which can/will cause respiratory problems and or cancer. Those truths have been diminished by reducing up to 50% nitrogen emittance & 90% less partical matter(black smoke)

act440...you didn't go to college huh? the particulate levels alone in diesel faaaaar outweigh all pollutants combined in gasoline...you think that big ass black plume is not detrimental to the environment???? leave the environment to the big "kids"

@tworth1953 thats funny because if i recall correctly for the past 5-6 years in a row a diesel powered car has won the 24hrs of lemans, and if diesels are " slow, dirty, and noisy", why are so many car manufacturers making diesel powered cars?
