To help Forgotten Cats Delware win a grant from the rescue challenge! We have SO many cats coming in that need to be neutered and vet care.

Thank you all for over 20,000 hits!
I wrote this poem years ago & decided on making this slide show to encourage adoption for Forgotten Cats a rescue I volunter for who helps spay and neuter countless feral/stray cats of PA and Delaware. I do Trap Neuter and Return for the feral cats in my area and help the stray cats find homes. I have many cats living with me now, plus the feral babies that I care for.

If you live near PA or Delaware. Please visit www.Forgottencats.org for adopting or helping this great rescue.

The song is "The Secret Garden." from the classic movie The Secret Garden.

  • how do you know the cat was searching for dropped hot dogs did you ask him? these cats have the freedom our home cats only wish they could have...

  • @RcUniverseGuy

    You're an idiot... Period

  • what people need to understand is that most stray cats are much happier than the avarege fat and neutered indoor cat that spend its life in totally boredome

  • @salvolondon

Are you that blind? Come to my local clinic that spays stray cats and see how "happy" they are.. worms.. emaciation, FeLv, FIV, bb punctures... females are 80% of their lives either pregnant or nursing. Males have their eyes and ear ripped up because of fighting.. I seen to much to know that indoor cats are far better off. Play with them daily and they won't be bored.

  • @sweetvegan74 i am not blind believe me,i had cats all my life and i study bio veterinary science. i know a lot about stray (or actually i should call them ferral) cats because i am from southern italy and there there are a lot of ferral cats,i can assure you that most ferral cats in italy are happy to lead a natural existance (cats are not like dogs, they are not complitely domesticated, thats mean most of them can lead a wild life).of course ferral cats have a shorter life span but this is nat

  • @salvolondon

Yes ONLY if they are spayed and neutered. I am for TNR and letting them breed out of control is just wrong.

  • I can't wrap my head around someone that would throw out their pet like garbage.

My ex locked one of my cats out once and when I found out I went looking for her. When I found her, she was curled up shaking against the sliding glass door (where she went out). When I brought her in, she would not let me go. I cant imagine doing that to her on purpose.

I will adopt adopt until I can't open a can of cat food.

I may be alone, but I'm not lonely. I'm a proud foster parent of the 3 beautiful girls.

  • Compassion and respect for the planet is of secondary importance because of the powerful few. We have collectively allowed them the power. Take the power back peacefully and see a new world born.

  • There are solutions but the intention has to be one of caring along with good deeds. The solution cannot come from one person alone but from an organized society that makes the good of the planet as a whole its very first priority. We would not have homeless people, or homeless animals. The principle of compassion is the same. If we can be kind to tiny living creatures, it stands to reason we shall be kind to human beings.

  • If I could, I would adopt all the stray cats out there, and live in a giant mansion so they would all fit. If only it were possible...

Dammit, every animal deserves a home!

  • @gingyluv your a vet? oh you must be a douchebag cause every vets office ive ever been in was full of douchebags who want my money..... even tho they killed my cat they still want the 800 bucks.. thanks veterinary industry!!!

  • @sirch9119 i know its soooo sad im crying right now!

  • i would adopt abused or homeless cats if i had a big house
