Tony Dixon on Dance

Tony Dixon, a Pittsburgh native, shares his views on dance in this excerpt from the mini documentary filmmed by Allison Davis and Amber Paige Berry. Paige was also editor on this piece. You will find Tony listed in the cast of credits in The 1998 movie, "The Temptations" where he plays a member of 'The Cadillacs' on stage, in the scenes opener. Tony is an ecclectic dancer who has appeared in a numerous amount of stage productions.

I studied under Tony back in 91 and 92 at Rogers. He's one of the best dance teachers I've had the honor of learning from. Not only does he teach you to express yourself in dance but he's down to earth and has a great personality. You go Mr. D; you still got it!!!

Mr. Dixon is an amazing dance teacher just never say cant in his presance he will make u do 10 pushups :[ but yeah he is amazing and he is the only "40" year old man i kno that can still do all 3 splits.... he has helped my whole class advance in our performances .... i just wsh he can get moved up to CAPA high school with us :[

He is AMAZING. I've been in that room a jillion times. I don't take him but i had him in 6th as a minor. But it was amazing. SUCH A GREAT DANCER.
