Wow,I used to play this game a lot when it came out on the ZX Spectrum.
I did manage to complete it after a long time on it.
But,I didn't get the maximum score of 100 per cent though.I often had game over from the dreaded spider in the forest.
I still have a vast collection of Spectrum adventures and games as well as the good old Spectrum that still works!!!

Great Game one of the first adventure games i ever played although it was some years after my first which was Twin kingdom Valley and it was awesome and hard as hell !

Excellent scenes and thanks for posting! In an act of sheer teenage petulence i would often kill the innocent Elrond simply because you could. The spider in the woods could be avoided by waiting twice (or possibly 3 times) before progressing.

your a legend man, i loved this game and would play this,lord of the rings and shadows of mordor, and robin of sherwood for hours alone in the attic !

...and so are you! I had the annoying buggy first version of this which would crash at certain locations. I used to play Atic Atac in the cellar, lol!
