I am not leaving a meant comment but I will mention I have 13 all indoor bunnies and putting them in water causes many stressess for the rabbit even though they can hide it well as they are predator animals. My roommate from college is a vet. You should not put the rabbit in any kind of water pool, bathtub ect... as the rabbit can easily aspirate the water if they get a tiny bit in their nose. It goes to the lungs and your rabbit can suffocate. Is it really worth chancing that if u care for bunn

@Wuety06 Ignorance. A swamp rabbit is a WILD rabbit, and used to swimming. Pet rabbits are NOT. Just because one type of animal can do one thing, doesnt mean they all can...

There is also a difference between putting a rabbit into a deep pool and rain water...

@gerinja Yes, exactly right. This is not safe for the bunnies they are scared. They are not happy in the water. They want to get out. Imagine how terrified they would be if this happened next door to your house. This is not how to treat animals. Especially rabbits. This is very sad. please be nicer to them. Or they won't be happy with you.

I put my rabbit on the stairs and he hopped up, gave a series of thumps (to show dislike) and ran back to his cage... a week later i caught him at the bottom of the stairs debating whether going the rest of the way was worth walking on laminate. new experiences scare them...it doesnt mean its abuse. for all those that say rabbits dont swim google swamp rabbit. it is a cotton tail known to swim in swamps in the southern usa. 1077+ idiots have disliked this video

Guys, you don't need to blow this over proportion with the caps and vulgarity. Rabbits can swim quite well actually. However I wouldn't recommend putting them in a chlorinated pool, because they have super sensitive skin that can get irritated very easily and the chemicals of a pool just won't mix well. Also it's fine to let them swim at their own choosing, but this rabbit doesn't seem to want to, so if he's trying to get out, don't force him back in :\
