you can purchase a short wave radio in Radio Shack store. it is cheaper to purchase a short wave radio with an analog tuner. however, a short wave radio with a digital tuner is best to know exactly what frequency you want to listen to or already listening to.

I wish i can put my tower up at my house. There is alot of interference when i try to listen to Short Wave now. I used to listen to it alot before 20-25 years ago and i miss this station. Thanks for posting :)

hey mark, what antenna is the sangean hooked up too? i have one but find when i run a wore i get overload

Just make sure when you connect the longwire via the 3.5m jack that you use a balun to reduce noise and you can also do what i did as you can see in the vid... just connect another wire to a good earth rod and connet it the the earth tag on the 3.5m jack you may need to cut the outer cover of the plug to get it to fit but its worth it....or you could use a EWE antenna. cheers and beers Mark

I listen (in Dallas, Tx.) to the hams yukking it up nights on 3810 and can *faintly* hear the time in the background. Nice DX and recording........ Carlton
