Bravo! Maybe the little thing that don't feel right that others feel is that the Japanese singer is a little bit more depressed and moaning, but this strong voice I think, gives a new interpretation to the song, not of only depressed from the realization but with defiance for what its worth.

I'm no music expert, but I think it might have to do with the arrengement having been originally made to suit Japanese lyrics and pronounciation. When one translates and adapts those lyrics it can be hard to make them "fit" the music. No matter how well adapted the translated lyrics might be, there will most likely be some form of disconnect in the cover.

while your song stays fairly true to the lyrics in japanese the songs just sound different to me. Don't get me wrong, I love both versions (maybe even your's a little more) but your's just seems a little off and I can't place my finger on what is wrong.
