Actualy vtec opens regardless of the amount of throttle as long as the required rpm is hit WHILE MOVING. Vtec does not engage when in neutral/at a stop.

@SN1P3R321 V-Tec is programmed only to engage when the vehicle is moving. Its completely disabled when in neutral.

you can't hit vtec at idle.....LOL what is the car going to do? vtec engages to release the power you already have. it's just limited until you're driving at a certain RPM...you don't have to be WOT...how can you not know about your own car?
