@Stiletos One can go back into history and cherry pick natrural calamities as far back as historical records allow. For sure anthropogenic CO2 is creating a global warming trend but the EFFECTS of that warming are not understood at all, CO2 levels on this planet have been anything but stable, especially when in interglacial periods when permafrost is melting due to Milankovitch cycles.

What most scientist WONT do is predict the effects of the higher CO2 levels that HAVE existed in the past.
