"Senegal Lullaby"

Smiling moonlight to the Milky Way.
Time has come for sleeping. Throw all your troubles away.
Don't be afraid of the lonely night.
Someone is always loving you.

Listen with your heart, breathing slowly.
No one will harm you. This is my lullaby for you.
Don't be afraid of the lonely night.
Someone is always blessing you.

Shining starlight coming to your soul.
Time has come for sleeping. Throw all your worries away.
Don't be afraid of the lonely night.
Someone is always loving you.

Lessons in life, leaving to Nirvana.
We are all with you. This is our lullaby for you.
Don't be afraid of the lonely night.
Buddha is always blessing you.

Nakamura's comment:

This song is a lullaby explaining the Nirvana of the Buddha. I went to Senegal to meet my music assistant Laura in 2007 and stayed at the University of Saint Louis, where she was then studying. I was inspired by her chord progression, and after listening to it carefully, I suddenly imagined this melody as a lullaby. Like so many other countries, Senegal experiences many problems and so much social unrest. This song expresses my hope for more peace in African nations.
