  • @pionstail If by 'may or may not', you mean 'doesn't', then I'd agree with your statement. I think most people agree that painting children like whores and entering them in 'talent shows' and 'beauty contests' is pretty gross.

  • That Heist show is clearly bullshit. Even if I believed you could manipulate people to that degree they'd never allow such an irresponsible thing to be done - liability issues alone would make it impossible. Staged, fake, bullshit.

  • She's got a bit of botox... either that or she's terribly ill..

  • i feel like a total pedo watching the Mini Pops clip...

  • Who knew that a kid put on a tv-show dressed up as a prostitute would end up as a fucking moron not even remembering the name of said show on a quiz show 20 years later? At least she's kept the prostitute look and, from what I can tell, persona. Bloody hell.

  • I do understand what's the problem with mini-pop... that song is so horrible it's creepy! Now, had it been a classic like "I just want to make love to you" by Etta James...

  • mini pops is creepy and she looks kinda like a hooker....

  • @Alexdurrant7 I wouldn't say violence shouldn't be shown on TV. I can see your point, that there's no difference in the sense that violence on TV may or may not lead to acts of violence as watching children may or may not lead to sex offender acts. However, I was referring to the exposing children in what could be sex offender viewing material; this programme certainly came close to that and perhaps crossed the line. Did the clip not make you feel uncomfortable in that sense?

  • @pionstail In the same way that no violence should ever be shown on screen for fear that it may provoke or give ideas to this with a violent disposition?

  • @fujikokun yeah, but we don't need to assist those people in their 'creepiness' by providing viewing material for them, do we?
