My family couldn't afford Butlins, we used to go to a holiday camp in Kent. Ican't remember what the camp was called --it was in Littlestone, shingle for miles around ,soft black mud up to your knees to get to the water at low tied. I think it was an old R.A.F. base. It was just like Hi-dee-Hi,------ we loved it! Those where the days.

there's only three camps left minehead, skegness and bognor regis but yes you can still book a holiday
