love that "a word, citizen" moment from Percy, and "borrowing" Chauvelin's coach lol just classic. sets up several possible plot-points in this bit too... hm. ominous end too- "don't trust her." dear Percy's confused ^_^()

@FanGirl1701D. No I think you'll find he was already the scarlet pimpernel, and he is going to tell her about it after they are married but then finds out about her supposed betrayal which she refuses to explain.

Another Sad Fact: In the books (I believe) it's established that Percy becomes the Scarlet Pimpernel because of Marget's betrayal of the french lord. That's not even mentioned in the movies and in my opinion it's a big part of the story as a whole. Percy does what he does to make amends for his wife's actions. I still like the movies though ;-) lol

Ronan Vibert is so good as Robbespiere! I have yet to see him in a sympathetic part, he has cornered the market in creepy baddies!!!!!!!
