Marti Jones does a super-cover of the dB's "Neverland" from St. Louis in 1986. Check out Tim Lee's (of the Windbreakers) great guitar solo towards the end of the song (he's the one playing the light blue guitar).
Saw this lineup @ the 500 seat Park West in Chi on a Monday night, with about 10 other people, including Buck, Berry & Mills of REM. Didn't realize that was Tim Lee of The Windbreakers (the guy with the Strat) 'til the band intros. Excellent show to a tiny crowd. Marti & Dixon played the same venue in '88 and sold the place out. Tim Lee has put out several albums over the past decade or so.
Indeed, RIP Dave Enloe - I always thought The Woods were going to make it big - Terry Anderson is still playing, not sure about Jack Cornell. And I sure would pay something to see this lineup again - The Woods were the perfect foil for Marti and Don - kept them more rocking than later Jim Brock era incarnations.
This is exactly how I will always remember David... totally bad-ass!!!

Say, isn't that Beatle Bob emerging from the crowd with his trademark move at 1:56? I didn't know he was hitting the shows back then.

Priceless video of a real treasure. Marti and Tim Lee on stage together, superb. Great lead guitar one-two punch.

Marti & Don played a few shows in the past few weeks (Fall 2009). They've got a few more planned for Spring 2010!
