i played the flute for about 6 years and piccolo for 2 and well.. my piccolo was stolen ='( so now i have to learn how to play the flute again... some know how hard it is..
you use less air because the high notes for the flute are low notes for the piccolo... so everything is changeing..

I'm proud to say that the first chair bass clarinet in the band went on to make all-district each year from 8th through 12th and even made all-state once. I'll try to get the one video I managed from this year up soon.

I play the trombone, and we are playing this in band. This song is pretty but it fustrates the heck out of me! I am first trombone and when we come in at measure 12, the snare always slows us down, and we always get blamed because our rhythm is repetative. I like the tempo your band took the song at though. We take it too slow. It was pretty good however there were a few clarinet squeaks in there.

Life just keeps getting better, huh? I was at the 11-12 all-district concert on 2/6/10, same hall, same first chair bass clarinetist.

She has taken up clarinet as well, but still plays Bass for all-district (made all-state last year). Good luck with tryouts!
