NOTES:

My first attempt started perfectly: two Hammer strikes and a Hound kick on the Priest. But the collision damage under GK conditions can work against you: I accidentally used Argo's Revenge to knock a Hound into the Translator.

My next attempt started fairly well. I was happy with how I handled the unlucky conditions I got. I only made a couple of mistakes, but nothing that could have cost me the fight.

My second successful attempt is a good example of how fast the Wave 3 fight can be, when playing under GK conditions. I only made one mistake: I used Might of the King by accident. I was holding the block button and I didn't release it fully before pressing the triangle button. In the end, this was not a major mistake and it didn't affect the outcome of the fight. Also, take note of the odd glitch when I grabbed the Priest. I was actually trying to grab the nearby Hound, but when I grabbed the Priest instead I thought I'd just go with it. I just wanted to interrupt the Priest's summon, so it didn't matter to me whether my grab connected with the Hound or the Priest. But I never expected the Priest to glitch out of the grab and summon a Guardian! That could have turned out badly, but in the end I dealt with the extra Guardian easily.

@voosler23 When you use the General Kratos costume (or any costume for that matter), you start the game with max health and magic bars. The player has no control over that. P.S. not sure if troll or just stupid.

what is GKTM and PAIN?

When I first did a Titan NUR+ and a GKTMNUR, I thought the pain couldn't get any worse. I never thought I'd redo each run without chests. Now it's the most enjoyable thing to play GoW2 under these conditions. The extra restrictions from PAIN increase the difficulty but dampen some of the fun... I don't cope well with frustration, though I do enjoy a good challenge. That's why I've been sticking to NUR+ conditions...

true dat. PAIN running taught me the value of parry to ascension. When you apply things learnt under extreme conditions to easier conditions you can really PROFIT.

right now I'm fancying a GKTMNUR funrun but I really ought to wrap this PAIN run up first.

When I was watching the footage before editing it I thought to myself "Hmmm, why did I use so much Argo's Revenge?" It is true that I could have parried then used t,t. I think I was trying to get collisions from the Argo's Revenge knockback, but there weren't always collisions to be had :P

That move sucks, misses too often. Long grind but you got there in the end. With so much CR at your disposal this fight was only going one way. FTW! Got dicey toward the end, leading the two FG toward the Translator was a little risky but you handled it like a PRO.

You have the best Translator victory dance there is. No need for the scroll through of weapons, we know what we're looking at.

WIN 2 ZOMFGWUT? not seen that happen before. I like the way that once you go RotT you just use it all.

Attempt 1 nasty, should have gone for the hound grab @ 1:42 instead of the reversal but even then you probably would have clipped the Translator with the collision. Why so much argo's revenge? You tried using parry to t,t with the BH?

WIN 1: summon whoring, gotta hate that. Also did the square finisher for the FG go right through the last HP?
