Love the way Annie Haslam moves. She has an angry expression at the end as if she was dissatisfied with the performance. You have to admire this band for virtuoso musicianship and sheer innovation.

All those who sheltered in their smile Are scattered here from yesterday And if the weak are left behind They have to pay and though you haven't much to give You know they take it, yours and mine Sometimes it looks as though we lose But then in time the finger points at them The next in line The vultures fly high They circle over us all The lonely sigh I'll take your hand if you fall

While in the streets of all our fears They reign supreme as orders go They are the last to have their say And last to know it doesn't matter how you try It doesn't matter what you say They always watch with hollow eyes To put you down they always find a way to criticise The vultures fly high They circle over us all The vultures fly high I'll take your hand if you fall

@cril1001001 I bought it when I was in jr high or high school and still have it. It's a very good album and a bit off the norm of the type of music I was buying a lot in those days.

I have the Vinyl too ! The countless hours I've experienced flipping it over and over to hear all the songs was Always worth the physical effort!

so very happy to find this...I still have my original vinyl - we used to play this one and "Ocean Gypsy" in between heavy metal songs/shows believe it or not - KMAC/KISS was fun during those days :)
I had an idea, Florence and The Machine ought to do a cover of this, 2011 style.

@cril1001001 I still have my vinyl copy and it is in great shape. The album jacket is undamaged except for the wear from being about 30+ years old.

@dourtan That's funny. I saw Al open for them, in Seattle, late 70's! Bit of a switch...
I managed to find a copy of this album on vinyl, the cover is in awful shape, but the vinyl is somehow almost perfect. It's one of my favorite of the vinyls I have. I highly recommend it.
