I got an idea about how to creat curve in midi track, you can turn off FIXED GRID and zoom up,then you gotta draw the curve yourself. Actually it's energy consuming, but it seems the only way to creat curve in midi track :(
How I want the curve in next version,IMNSHO I want it immediately! I can't figure out how Ableton think about this, maybe Live is the only DAW now exiting without curve.

doesnt say fades for me.. ?

Yeah the fades are for audio only. And I have a video showing how I made the skin, just click on my name to see all my video's and you will see it.
-Cheers and thanks for watching.

All well and good, but that only works if you're fading over a single clip. I've got some chopped up clips on the same channel and I want a curve over the whole section. Is it possible to do so without bouncing to a new track?

@otgmusic for that you will have to draw out the volume or record while automating the volume with a midi controller if you have one. Also as you guessed you could bounce or merge the clips together and then use the fade curves.

wow, I've been wondering how to do this forever!

@tylerblue1984 glad that helped you. Sometimes when working with powerful tools like Ableton somethings get overlooked or a bit buried when you have so many options or different ways of doing things.
But that is also what makes the program so great. Cheers and thanks for the support.
