I don't get why aliens existing have anything to do with the existence of God. Correct me if I'm wrong but I haven't heard about any religion specifically excluding the possibility of other intelligent creatures aside from humans. Just because it's not mentioned by the holy scriptures, doesn't exclude it from existence (unless it is specifically said not to exist). Penguins may not be mentioned in the any holy texts but they're around...
