My god... 240+ pitches in the swealtering heat of the summer, and he's still able to throw 147 KMH? He really is Kaibutsu...

Americans still got the strength... its just that Japanese players just work so hard.

@NightmareTeeVee you know in 2008 he had 18wins 3 losses in the mlb playing for the red sox..
-
@TheGoldenWater yeah there are some negative points of doing it as well as good points, but this is what high school baseball is for japanese students

wow the coach here is incredibly irresponsible. Throwing 100+ pitches takes a pretty big toll on a pitchers arm. But 240? that could have seriously destroyed his arm and left him where he could not play in the future all because of some game between two high school teams. coach should have taken the kid out, thats just ridiculous.

so they made 98 Koshien out of this huh?
-
critikal?

This guys is all hype. He can strike out 6 but hes already given up 4 something runs in EVERY game he starts. Not gonna cut it in the MLB.
-
The last pitch wasn't a strike.

Koshien is the The National High School Baseball Championship of Japan wich is played in Koshien stadium. It is as popular if not more popular then proffesional baseball in Japan.
