McFall sold this song to Bro.Joel Hemphill of the SINGING HEMPILLS who made the song a million seller.Bro.Hemphill returned the rights to the song to Bro. McFall. Bro. I love this song. It has always held a great and wonderful meaning to me. I use to sing this song a lot. Beautiful. I thank God for given this poor blind man his sight, and setting me free from a dark prison of sin. HaHo !

There's so much soul and power in this music. To us europeans, rationalistic sceptics that we are, we may dismiss it as too emotional. But we still listen to it, at least I do. Maybe because it's such a contrast to our protestantism here in Northern Europe...
