I think "The Office" was centered too much around Steve Carell and not as much as the other, albeit colorful characters. That's why Micheal's departure from the show left a huge impact on the viewers, because people were generally accustomed to seeing Michael Scott being the "main" character of the show.

Will farrell is MANAGER!!! AHHH!!!, he has been in terrible at everything (except Austin powers because he died) I would rather have Toby or Kevin as boss I'll give it 3 episodes, if he's not gone by then I'm not watching it anymore.

I was a little shakey with Steve Carrell leaving "The Office" however I really love the cliffhangers and suspense that were left in the last season with Dwight and Angela and the baby. There is also Oscar who might start dating Angela's husband. My point is, is that The Office can still be a great show without Steve Carrell.
