hare krishna ..great video

Mohammed said, "I fast, I break my fast. I pray, I sleep. And I marry." Buddha taught the middle way.
Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene and was intimate with John, The Beloved.
Sex is the highest expression of love between humans. We just need to control our sex drive (just like we do our appetite) This requires discipline.

Dont remember Christ or Yogananda calling anyone dumb ever... Teach with love...

I was celbate for 3 years. I am now back to regular sex and feel way more grounded.
I visit Encinitas to meditate and love Yoganandas work. Control of sex mind etc
Is easy after a few months.

it is a blessed feeling to know neither i or, well we, are not alone... that we are all a part of something... something unimaginable.
One more crumb: "Sex is the highest expression of love between humans."
All the animals do it. Is it 'cause it's the "highest love"?
No, sex is a biological urge, rarely an expression of love of all. If it was, the more couples sexed the more stable marriages we'd see. But sexers run from partner-to-partner. The more they indulge, the shorter the marriages.
Sex is of the lower chakras. Real love starts with at the heart chakra. And it's not a sexual chakra at all. You're just addicted to sex.

More rubbish:
"Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene and was intimate with John, The Beloved."
You wish! (Because you want to have more sex, like everybody else, and call it "spirituality.") Women wish! (Because they want to remain as gods over weak men.)
But no, Jesus was celibate. That's why he said "There are 'eunuchs' for the sake of the Kingdom of Heaven," within. No spiritual knowledge without chastity.
Despite your fantasy novels, Jesus was not married; & didn't have sex with anybody.

dakotagerman: What rubbish. No, Buddha practiced many austerities, including severe ones (such as sitting in the sun, holding long postures), then simply stated that the "severe" ones are not necessary, only the moderate austerities such as celibacy, seclusion, etc. All his monks were strictly required to be celibate. This was the "middle way."
You know nothing about Buddhism, and probably less about Mohammed. Hey, are you Buddhist? Or Islamic? Very different things.

Well, he was a bit worse, as I recall. He called them things like "vipers," and the children "of Satan," and "hypocrites!". As I recall. Yogananda had his own insults and epithets for the right people. One of them was "psychological antiques," which seems a bit more edgy than just "dumb." A teacher is going to reprove people now and then. The issue is what lies behind it. The authority of knowledge? Sincerity? Caring about people?

Well, if you get over sex addiction then you can not only love Yogananda's work theoretically, but experience it personally. Being "grounded"? (Immersed in matter?) Been there, done that. The point of yoga is to become grounded in something better than passing moods, the sex roller coaster, and the material world.

"Christ was a celebate huh!?"
Yes, obviously. You didn't even realize this?
Talk about dumb!
