I'll show you how to make the text and image size on your Windows computer bigger without changing your monitor's resolution, so you will continue to have high resolution, but without the blurriness.

The benefits of magnifying your text and images vs changing your resolution is you do not lose quality because your LCD monitor can stay at its native optimum resolution, and you can now see your text better. Plus, if you have a CRT you can enjoy the crispness of a high resolution monitor without giving up "readability of text and objects" on your screen.

Right click your desktop, and click personalize.

Click on the display link. Pick a percentage you want your text and objects to be enlarge by.

If you want a custom enlargement percentage, you need to click "Set custom text size (DPI) link"

You can also turn off or on "ClearType" text feature for making your LCD text more clear and crisp by clicking the Clear type link in the left side bar.

Logoff and logon your computer account.

You can also press CTRL+ + to increase the size of a website in Internet Explorer and other browsers. To shrink a website press CTRL+ - .

A lot of computer programs also have zoom features like a slider on the bottom right of MS Word 2007, etc.
