United Nations, New York, 3 December 2009 - United States singer-songwriter Stevie Wonder was officially designated as a UN Messenger of Peace to advocate for the Organization's work, with the artist - blind since birth - to champion people with disabilities.

Eric Falt, Director of Outreach, Department of Public Information, interviewed the newly designated Messenger of Peace, Stevie Wonder.

    We have a technology that we have beeing building that is available today

    for accessibility, digital divide & security over the internet are the core issues that

    the UN has to address..the tech is available & the UN & World Economic Forum needs to address this.. I have been spearheading this solution since 2004
