  • What truly pissed Johnny Carson off, was the fact the pinheads at NBC didn't take his advice of David taking over the show. Jay was picked for one reason only, he is good with sponors, and good about going to special events and plugging their deals. David is just like Johnny, A RECLUSE. and refuses to deal. Johnny told David to go to CBS and helped him work out a deal. Johnny NEVER WENT BACK TO NBC after that. He did show up on David's show a few times, BUT NEVER JAYS. So that will explain it.

  • I believe Conan ought to treat Letterman right now the way Letterman treated Carson, as someone to give advice. He needs Letterman's advice on how to deal with this snake Leno.

  • Clint can't take a joke.

  • NBC sucks. They f-ed Letterman and f-ed Conan. For what, Leno? Leno blows chunks.

  • Daryl Gates was the chief of the LA Police Department at the time, for those who don't know.

  • Clint's legs in the stud position, just off his horse, waiting for the pussycat.

  • @UFOSPACE1999 if im not mistaken... the people at nbc are not to good at there job... and that they love jay leno...lol

  • "Still pissed huh?"

  • @wilton3515 I concur Leno is so lame!!

  • @roxydog2004 And well deserved...They're practically the father and son of modern comedy.

  • @UFOSPACE1999 Excellent evaluation!

  • Letterman is the 1st person to receive the Johnny Carson Award for comedic excellence in 2011
