I'm seriously debating on transcibing this solo, some of the ideas I could use in all kinds of solos. 0:41 for example.

I've watched both of you're videos (Cherokee, and this one) and they're both just crazy good. You have a lot of old videos of you're playing but I want to see some current ones. 1:31 is a crazy lick btw. Love your stuff, you're one of my favorites on Youtube.

@shepgthollywood which is exactly why audition judges do not = jazz. I wonder how many talents are squelched early on for not playing by the rules.

holly hell your altisimo notes are so out of tune!! but you have great ideas! work on intonation on that upper register but great!

@shepgthollywood yeah, what i meant is that i've seen a lot of submissions from obviously badass players that do have pretty sloppy heads, even played at slower tempos. i think a lot of people take the head kind of loose.

@reklaws52 Don't get me wrong, the solo sounds killin. But there are a few wrong notes in the head.

@shepgthollywood i think you're wrong about the head. I've seen many submissions from players of a high level that are sloppier. this is actually the best sax player i've seen
