i am 20 years old and i have had kidney infections since i was 13, my kidneys are badly damaged now and they just figured out that this was the problem that was causing the kidney infections which is aparently very rare for girls my age because usually they find this out when you are an infant/toddler.. almost 8 years later finally figured it out... i have to go for surgery in april for it.. im very nervous and scared, i dont know what will happen..

  • God bless you! My son Cruz has stage 3 on both sides. I hope your daughter is doing good now!!

  • Hang in there. I was diagnosed with reflux at 2 wks old, vesicostomy placed just under my belly button soon after and had my damaged kidney removed at 2 yrs old. I had lived with one functioning kidney for 23 yrs until recently when I needed a transplant. I am doing wonderful. Please keep little Lizzie in your heart and care for her, I am proud of my mother for keeping me alive growing up and she will be too.
