This pipe tune was popular in the early 1900's - Sgt. James Early (piper) learned it from a piper from Cloone, County Leitrim, and made sure it was included in O'Neill's collection. Leo Rowsome, a prominent piper as long ago as 1920, recorded it in 1975. I've played the first time through as Early notated it, and the second as in Rowsome's recording. There are some lovely phrases in both versions.

This is the 21st installment in my hornpipe-per-week home recording project. Thanks for listening. I play an anglo concertina made in 2004 by Colin Dipper.
