Buck Rogers Planet of Zoom (PC MS-DOS)

Gameplay video for the game Buck Rogers Planet of Zoom for MS-DOS. Quite an old game I used to play on my old pc (XT with monochrome graphics)sometimes when I was a kid.

Fly through the gates and shoot the ufo's and aliens. There's also a space level with a level boss. In this video I made it till the first boss but didn't manage to destroy it.

The game is played on a modern pc using Dosbox. Recording is also done using Dosbox.

Oh yes I had this on a 360KB floppy! :)

However, I'm 99% sure that on the original machine the game was not THAT fast. This runs in insane speed bud...

@pianoman74 I also had this on 360kb floppy back in the days on my old IBM pc. Not quite sure about the speed anymore. In this video it is runned in DOSBOX so it's quite possible the settings aren't very accurate :-)

@E235J The original release, and only official one I'm aware of, is a PC Booter only. There were later hacked versions which were built from the PC Booter release, but as far as I know those were all pirate versions :)

@phreakindee Hmm I am sure having a version back in the day that I started from within DOS from the prompt. Maybe there are different versions of the game??

@rarbiart Correct, this was a PC Booter game, no DOS needed!

sorry, but this was NOT a MS-DOS-game!

It booted directly from disk! NO need to start DOS first (or even the chance!)

I got so good at this game at one stage. I was able to complete this with one life lost. This game was awesome. And VERY hard!
