The answer to "Why doesn't it work?" is because it only works if the Raichu has full health.

I used: Blaziken, Raichu, Crasselia and Graveler.
My opponent used: Dialga, Dragonite and Starpator.

Focus Sash only works if a big amout of damgage in one attact it well save your pokemon in this case sene your Raichu is already weekend buy hafe way Focus Sash did not work

yeah if it was focus band it would let raichu live since it will let ur pokemon survive with even one hit point taken away!
