In front of the Israeli Consulate in San Francisco, pro and anti-Israel activists engage in a relatively civilized discussion on the origins of the Palestinian people, and the plight of Christians in the region.
The facts: In Bethlehem, for example- estimates show a sharp demographic Christian-Muslim shift. The Christian population went from an 80 percent majority in 1950, to a 60 percent majority in 1990, to approximately a 40 percent minority in 2000. Today the population of Christian Arabs in Bethlehem is hovering at about 15 percent of the city's total population. At present an estimated ten thousand Christians remain in the city. Notice- anti-Israel activists are happy to discuss the decline of a Christian majority in Bethlehem- however, they will never volunteer that there is now an Islamic majority in the area They prefer to blame it on the "occupation" July 5, 2011
of course i remember this demo but i had forgotten all about how bored i got with this street side debate and asking these guys to wake me up when it's over. this is a big part of why i just go straight to ridiculing the weak minded leftists who turn up to these things at times like this it's the only thing that keeps me awake.

Jordan was in the British mandate of Palestine, the guy with the beard is 100% incorrect in his view there. Jordan is indeed Palestine. Jordan was cute out of the british mandate of Palestine, leaving only a portion of the original mandate to be decided upon, of the remaining part 51% to the Jews and the rest to palestinteans, who had already received the area of modern Jordan. This is a fact.
The bearded man needs to learn the true history without a pro jew or anti jew bias.
