Also, I think the song is making reference to the show in a roundabout way. This was played at the end of the first season, when Jax and Piney had read John Teller's memoirs on the Sons of Anarchy and where he thought the group had strayed from their original focus. John also wrote about how he saw the gang eventually falling apart, so John Teller is kind of a stand in for John the Revelator who also wrote on how he saw the world ending.

@Cemilhimself I'm so glad i'm not the only person in the world that noticed and got the reference!!

@mannicool123 In the first season finale, Jax was lying on a mauseleum with the family name of "PATMOS". John of Patmos, also known as "John the Revelator", wrote the Book of Revelation (it's called Book of the Seven Seals in the song) while in exile on the Greek island of Patmos.

@bdawg106 Long as you know. The sond has nothing to do with the show. :D

@Muteleight john the baptist died long before the gospel account was written, the writer of the gospel and the revelation are the same man, john, though he wrote the revelation first, while on the isle of patmos.
