for the records......bill Rose (in this vid)invented world's first BRAINWAVE to ELECTRONIC SPEECH COMPUTER SYSTEM IN THE 1980's. A book entitled HUMAN BRAIN WAVES TO ELECTRONIC SPEECH is on LULU.COM
Today marks the start of phase two...a more modern system using this usb experimentor's board constructed by Bill Rose from a Velleman kit. AVAILABLE FROM RAMSEY ELECTRONICS
The original system is in a museum in phoenix AZ. IT USED A TIMEX 1000, A BELL ANALOG TO DIGITAL, A BYTEBACK CONTROL MODULE AND WAS PROGRAMMED IN BASIC. I have STARTed A SITE DEDICATED TO THIS PROJECT ENTITLED WWW.BRAINWAVEINSTITUTE.4T.COM
for the record MICROSOFT is jumping into this field of technology with coming brain wave guided computer games and i am offering MS everything I have produced in this field if the price is right.

  • @billyandtherockets shows the volume of the frequencyes, shows the activity of the areas, and can measure. Can using to controll a lot of things.

  • @petiphone by volume do you mean amplitiude? activity of what areas? measure what? what p.c. board or kit are you using? are your displays on a crt? what?

  • Hey.

That PCB looks nice. Did you really do it yourself? Or was it your grandson?

I bought that PCB too from Velleman and used Matlab to benchmark it.

It's nice but I don't think its sufficiently evolved and fast to retrive the brainwaves you mention.

It's kind of slow for input fetch and output controls...

But if you say you made it... Great.

  • @billyandtherockets If you have a modern pc try BBC BASIC a free download program..then find a brainwave pickup and write a program that will work on your BW input and go fro there

  • everything i build works
