2009 Michigan Works! Association Alumni Celebration

The Michigan Works! Association Alumni Celebration honors the successes and achievements of individuals who participate in the Michigan Works! System. The Association hosts the Celebration annually to honor 25 individuals; each nominated their local Michigan Works! Agency.

This celebration is held annually and features individuals from across Michigan whose hard work and persistence, along with support from Michigan Works!, led to a successful entrance into the workforce.

Each award winner has the opportunity to tell their story and the role Michigan Works! played in their success. Businesses that have made invaluable contributions and commitment to the lives of the Alumni are also recognized.

Honorees receive awards from their state senators and representatives, and share individual stories of success and triumph.
