@johnniesi well, VW have been doing pretty good when it comes to mpg's, I think it will deliver, but 7K is quite the difference, that's like 4 years worth of fuel.....

This is not a Beetle its just a Volkswagen Golf with a round body. The old Beetle was so nice looking and you will never forget the shape, this car is very forgettable and you will in a few years like the last version.

VW beetle turbo - 21 city, 30hwy. Civic Si - 22 city, 31hwy.

The VW has 207 lbs ft of torque compared to the Honda's 170.

And which both torque and Horsepower come in a lower RPM.

But the package also comes with Standard Heated leather seats, Nav, Satellite Radio, Fender Premium Sound System and Carefree Maintenance for 36 months.

Same Hp as my 2012 Civic Si for about 7k more. I am also guessing this wont get 30 mpg like my civic is and this is going to be far less reliable.

I also prefer a manual transmission, it's sad that most cars sold now do not offer manual transmissions.

All DSG transmissions have Launch Control. My Jetta 2.0T has it. You have to turn off the traction control.
